Shaolin Temple Los Angeles
is the first official Shaolin Temple in North America to be opened by China’s first ordained westerner; Venerable Shi Yan Fan.
The Venerable Shi Yan Fan is a 34th Generation Shaolin Warrior Monk,
Master in the healing art of Qi Gong.
Branded with the sacred precept marks called “Jieba”, Master Shi Yan Fan
became the first westerner in history to be branded at the ancient Shaolin Temple of China. Shaolin Temple Los Angeles is proud to be a
co-founding member of the Shaolin Association of North America.

Shaolin Temple Los Angeles is dedicated to helping the community. One of our main goals is to help children grow up physically healthy, mentally strong, and internally happy. Shaolin conditioning is very beneficial in many ways. Meditation helps calms and ease the mind, while the conditioning classes promote physical wellness.
